Vioraux

Vioraux is overwhelmingly white and of french descent, comprising 91% of the population. This is due to strict immigration laws and high amounts of xenophobia. Viennes are extremely proud of their heritage, and view anyone with little to no french background as inferior.

There is a tremendous inbalance in terms of ancestry. The entire southern half of the nation is mostly english due to the colonization of the southern portion of the island by England in 1725. Eventually losing to france and retrating, the remaining english on the island were treated poorly by the new french government. This has caused that area to be poverty stricken, neglected, and highly polluted.

Another odd different between the north and the south is religion. The mostly french northern half is 88% athiest, while the mostly english southern half is 79% christian.

Vioraux also has a social hierarcgy that every citizen falls into. This is how the plutocratic government works. Only citizens in upper three categories may hold office, the opposite for the bottom three. The bottom two categories can not even vote. People are placed in categories based on their income. The government updates what catergory one is in every four years. The name of the program is V.I.P
