The Basics

The Plutocracy of Vioraux (Vee-Oh-Rue), commonly referred to as Vioraux or the Plutocracy, is a country in The Western Isles. It is located far west and is comprised of five departments and two territories. The name Vioraux comes from the last name of the french naval navigator; Jacques Vioraux. In 1708 he discovered and colonized the island, becoming its governor until his death in 1717. Since then, Vioraux has prided itself with its French heritage and today it is the most french-like nation in the Isles.
